NEOnet Welcomes New Membership of Three Northeast-Ohio School Districts to Consortium
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH â (September 4, 2018) â In July, NEOnet (Northeast Ohio Network for Educational Technology) welcomed three local school districts as new members of the information technology centerâs (ITC) consortium. The three new districts include Field Local School District, Medina City School District and Wadsworth City School District (WCSD).
The three districts will join the other 122 entities currently supported by NEOnet, which includes 33 school districts, two educational service centers, three career centers, 11 private schools, 70 community schools and three cities and villages.
Being a member of NEOnetâs consortium offers entities the opportunity to receive costeffective programs and services, including fiscal services, technology integration, security services, facility use and student registration, among others.
Wadsworth City School District decided to partner with NEOnet after reviewing the districtâs current technology services as part of its strategic plan.
âWe felt very comfortable with NEOnetâs offerings and the services they provide,â said WCSD Superintendent Andy Hill. âWe are constantly looking to become a more efficient district, and we believe that NEOnetâs overall package will best meet our districtâs goals moving forward.â
âWe would like to welcome Field Local Schools, Medina City Schools and Wadsworth City Schools to our consortium of school districts,â said Matthew Gdovin, executive director of NEOnet. âWe will be committed to assisting each district to ensure they can deliver the educational experiences that their students deserve.â
